Colossians 1:11-20 speaks of Christ's supremacy over all of creation and the redemption and reconciliation He brings. It explains that believers are "strengthened with all power" through Christ to live lives of patience and joy, and through Him, they are redeemed and forgiven of their sins. The passage further emphasizes that Jesus is the image of the invisible God, through whom all things were created and are held together, and that through Him, God reconciled all things to himself on the cross.
