Luke 15:1-10 is a passage that contains two parables of Jesus about things that are lost and then found. The parables are the Lost Sheep and the Lost Coin, and they illustrate Jesus' concern for sinners who have departed from God and need to be brought back to him. The passage also sets the context for the third and most famous parable of the Lost Son, which shows the father's love and forgiveness for his prodigal son.
